Classical Ballet instructor

Marin Ballet is actively seeking a highly skilled intermediate/advanced Classical Ballet instructor for part-time, hourly employment, starting in July of 2023. Successful candidate may be offered continued employment, up to 12-14+ hours per week, for the school year 23/24.

Candidate must have extensive knowledge in teaching and breaking down intermediate ballet syllabus and experience in pre-pointe and beginning pointe work. Ideal teacher will also have knowledge in classroom etiquette and management, work as a rehearsal coach and have excellent personal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must have 5+ years in classical ballet instruction
  • Professional performance and theater experience ideal
  • Pilates or yoga instruction a plus.

Must be available in person, for an interview with the School Director and to instruct a ballet/pointe class.
